Learning outcomes

Design

Ship an exception-first dashboard skeleton with aging bands, remediation owners, and captions that read aloud cleanly.

Governance

Document threshold logic your auditors can defend, including where the financial auditing app should refuse vanity metrics.

Briefing

Deliver a twelve-minute narrative that opens on risk, not on a tour of every tile.

Transfer

Leave with templates your team can edit the week after the final module.

Modules

  1. Signal vs noise — audit what executives actually finish reading in current packs.
  2. Hierarchy for assurance — page anatomy for aging, exceptions, and calm context.
  3. Threshold craft — materiality bands that survive challenge from both audit and FP&A.
  4. App walkthrough — mapping controls into a financial auditing app without overbuilding.
  5. Bilingual captions — keeping English and Chinese summaries aligned for Hong Kong boards.
  6. Committee dry-run — timed rehearsal with peer critique and revision notes.

Instructor

Helena Cho

Former group reporting lead and assurance advisor based in Wan Chai. Helena facilitates Executive Audit Command with redacted live packs and a bias toward fewer, clearer tiles.

Informational pricing

Typically delivered as Oversight Studio at HK$14,200 per seat. Team deliveries run under Board Suite. No payment is taken on this website — see pricing and refunds.

Who it fits

CAEs, controllers, senior auditors, and FP&A partners who own or co-own the executive audit dashboard. Less ideal if you only need a vendor tool certification.

FAQ

Do I need a specific BI tool?

No. We work in tool-agnostic layouts and map them into the stack you already use. The financial auditing app examples are illustrative patterns, not a product lock-in.

How large are cohorts?

Oversight Studio caps at sixteen seats so critique sessions stay specific.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not rebuild your data warehouse. If source systems cannot produce aging or owner fields reliably, module four will surface that gap — and you may need IT support before the dashboard can go live.

Is there a refund window?

Yes — eligibility and timelines are described in our Refund Policy.

The bilingual caption drill in module five stopped our committee from debating translation instead of remediation owners.

Dry-run day was uncomfortable — I overran by three minutes — but the cut list Helena gave me is now our default briefing checklist.
